This year's International women's day I request everyone to focus on Mother Earth, we thrive on her resources and most of us don't treat her well. I started Earthworks to help me pave a path to spread the message about the importance of environmental conservation. After nearly 2 years, I finally achieved a part of goal by being able to speak to larger audiences about sustainability and dangers of our disposable habits.
The New Indian Express - Indulge - Chennai (8th-March-2019) has featured me as one of women who have taken up a GREEN CAUSE through entrepreneurship.
I am so very thankful to everyone who has supported me through my journey, especially the women in my life. I am especially grateful to the wonder women/girls who make Earthworks bags so special. This year I could not do something special for them, but hopefully next month ( on my birthday) I hope to surprise them with goodies.
Us women now have various possibilities ahead of us, with equality being close to achievement (soon hopefully*) we must come together and empower each other. I am so happy to see the change already taking momentum, year by year, we break more ceilings.
